The Soul of Concrete: How RiFRA Transforms Material into Design

Concrete has always been a symbol of solidity and modern architecture. But how can such a "raw" material become the protagonist of a luxury kitchen or a refined design bathroom?

At RiFRA, the answer lies in the method. We are not satisfied with simply "coloring" surfaces: we build the material.

An Artisanal Process, Layer by Layer

Every piece finished in concrete starts with a simple MDF base, carefully prepared through precise sanding and the application of a quartz primer. This is where the true work of our artisan begins.

The finish is applied in two successive coats by hand-trowel. This step is fundamental: the manual application creates those "controlled imperfections," sharp edges, and nuances that make every panel a unique, unrepeatable piece.

Precision and Time

The secret to our concrete finish is respecting the timing. We always work in small batches to maintain total control over the technical gesture. After drying and further sanding, we apply two coats of transparent protective sealant.

The result? A surface that is:

  • Authentic to the touch and sight.

  • Resistant and durable.

  • Endowed with a visual depth that changes depending on the light.
