Open Week 2026. What happened in the showroom.
Marble, liquid metal, lacquers, wood.
For five days, from April 21 to 25, the showroom at Corso Matteotti 1 remained open throughout the week of Salone del Mobile. The 2026 edition of the Salone, "A Matter of Salone", placed matter at its centre. It was also the thread of the Open Week.
Different people passed through — designers, clients, Salone visitors, the curious. They moved through the spaces unhurriedly. They paused in front of a marble island, opened a door, asked how liquid bronze is applied. Conversations took shape around a dining table or in front of a boiserie.
Kitchens, bathrooms, walk-in closets, bookcases, boiseries: each system on display in its catalogue finishes, configurable in dimensions, materials, details. In the showroom they lived side by side, speaking the same language.
A short video gathers some moments from those days. The showroom light, the surfaces, the gestures. A way to give back something of that week to those who couldn't be there in person.
