Installation of a black concrete FLY kitchen with Island
We are located in Vigevano, in northern Italy's Lombardy region, known for having long been one of the world's main centers of shoe production. In 1866 the first industrial-model shoe factory was established there, opening a season that in the following century would lead the Pavia town to produce tens of millions of shoes exported all over the world, thus becoming "the shoe capital."
In a villa in this town, RiFRA has just completed the installation of a FLY with the unique, hand-spatulated Black Cement finish.
Here's how Annamaria, our client, recounted her experience to our microphones:

Our client's needs were to have storage and different worktops, without sacrificing the design and style of a RiFRA kitchen; in short, to make a functional kitchen without renouncing aesthetics.
FLY kitchen
The kitchen is presented with an island in the center on which a natural oak snack counter is then developed, ideal for breakfasts.
The FLY kitchen island features a 30-degree contoured top and 45-degree contoured doors with a custom-created groove.
The choice of Black Cement, hand troweled, enhances the materiality of the finish, making each panel different.
The black Ceramic top houses the sink.
The wall-mounted kitchen bases, also from the FLY collection, house storage, and the flush-mounted cooktop and a second sink are placed in the top.
The wall units, on the other hand, were created with a vasistas opening.
In the opposite wall are positioned the columns, dedicated to storage, ovens and the insertion of an American fridge.
Next to them, a Naturare Oak boiserie completes the composition with five shelves, again in Black Cement hand-spatulated that echoes the finish of the rest of the kitchen.
