Design Town-House in Hoboken, New Jersey.

This four-storey house in downtown Hoboken, New Jersey has been completely renovated and designed by its current owner.

It reflects a contemporary style, with an industrial loft-like character, but also offers every possible modern luxury.

This historic property was originally built in 1897, and served as a milk bottling plant before being converted into a three-unit residential property.

The current owners acquired the three units for renovation and have redesigned the space with the utmost care to create a large open-plan home.

This is evident when one enters the main living space and is impressed by the high ceilings ranging from 3.33 to 4.27 metres, which enhance the character of the house, while multiple skylights, floating staircases and glass walls and doors ensure sunlight throughout the living space.

At the entrance, a private lift takes you from the first level to the third, which includes the main living areas.

The spacious kitchen, designed, manufactured and delivered by RIFRA, is part of the FLY collection, which is characterised by its 45° cuts on the doors and 30° cuts on the coutertop.

The design is typically RiFRA, characterised by the double island.

The islands are in oak wood finish, the tops in natural basalt marble, while the column part is in the exclusive black cement finish, hand-spatulated.

The kitchen is adjacent to the living room, dining room and media room, each with its own fireplace.

This level also includes an office, bathroom, pantry, wet bar also designed and manufactured by RiFRA with a 504-bottle wine cellar, visible bricks, and a 250-square-metre terrace with Ipe flooring and irrigation system.

On the second level are the private areas of the home, including a living area, an art wall, a spacious guest suite with master bath and visible brickwork, a secondary bedroom with bathroom and a dedicated laundry room with built-in wardrobes. Quiet and away from the street and other rooms is the majestic master suite, with a bedroom, sitting area with a fireplace, walnut canopy over the bed, a large walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious marble-clad RiFRA bathroom with heated floors, two showers and freestanding tub.

The RiFRA bathroom consists of a 2.40 metre wide K.ONE with a granite top, while the cabinet is made of hand-spatulated black cement; the washbasins on the top are the ELLISSE ceramic model, while the LOOM madicine cabinet mirror has a 45° shaped Corian frame with LED lighting.

On the top floor, the residence has two roof terraces totalling 150 square metres, with shaded seating, a dining area and an outdoor fireplace.

An indoor/outdoor kitchen created by RIFRA completes the terrace, while a dual-purpose recreation room with a billiard table, a dart wall and a TV wall make this level a perfect space for playing.

Finally, the first floor features a marble-tiled entrance hallway, a gymnasium, a 'man cave' that pays tribute to the owner's great passion for cars, and a garage/showroom for four vehicles.

The first floor is completed by an indoor, air-conditioned swimming pool room, shower and sauna.

All of the residence's numerous bathrooms were furnished by RiFRA:
